RULES:
The Daily Deals for the Holidays Registration is a contest played on-line only.
The winner is determined by a random drawing.
No purchase necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not increase chances of winning.
The odds of winning depend on the number of valid entries received.
ENTRY:
Contestants may enter the contest by filling out the electronic registration form on the WKTV website, www.wktv.com.
Entries will be accepted beginning November 1, 2010 and the deadline for entries is November 30, 2010 at 3:00PM, EDT.
PRIZE:
One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded. The Grand Prize is a Sony Handycam “HDR-xr150” Value of $550.
The contest winner may claim their prize at WKTV’s business offices during normal business hours. WKTV’s offices are located at 5936 Smith Hill Rd, Deerfield, NY. Normal business hours are 9:00am to 4:00pm. Winner must have valid ID with them.
OTHER CONTEST REQUIREMENTS
Eligible contestants must be 18 years of age or older and possess a driver’s license or other valid form of picture ID.
Prizes are non-transferable. No substitutions are permitted. Redemption of prize is subject to any restrictions, and or conditions established by WKTV.
Winner is responsible for any and all federal, state and local taxes and gratuities in conjunction with acceptance of any prize.
Winner is responsible for any costs related to the acceptance of the prize.
By participating in the contest, the winner agrees to allow their name, voice or likeness used in any advertising, promotion or broadcasting material relating to this contest, without additional financial or other compensation, and to sign a publicity release prior to acceptance of any prize.
WKTV reserves the right to impose an additional age limit.
WKTV may not be held responsible for any technical or mail difficulties that results in a failure in the delivery of an eligible entry, printing or typographical errors in any contest related materials or for stolen, lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, illegible or postage-due mail or entries.
WKTV, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the WKTV Web Site or who is otherwise in violation of the rules. The station further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the contest if it is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.
Employees of WKTV and Smith Media License Holding, LLC and their immediate family members are not eligible to win.
Void where prohibited.
WKTV reserves the right to supplement or change contest rules at any time.
All decisions of the WKTV contest coordinator are final.
The Contest and all of the related pages, contents and code are copyright, Deadline Deals, and/or WKTV-TV. Copying or unauthorized use of any copyrighted materials, trademarks or any other intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.
Each winner, by acceptance of the prize, agrees to release all Sponsors, and their parent and subsidiary companies, their officers, directors, employees, agents, shareholders, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, and advertising agencies from all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize.
Deadline Deals and WKTV-TV are not responsible for Internet crashes or slowdowns caused by network congestion, viruses, sabotage, satellite failures, phone line failures, electrical outages, natural disasters or acts of man or God.
All results posted are unofficial until winners respond to notification.
