THE CONTEST: Mother’s Day Photo CONTEST is an internet only contest played via www.wktv.com.
Mother’s Day Photo Contest is sponsored by WKTV, Goldmine Jewelers, The Laser Spa@610 and The Radisson - Utica Centre.
A valid contestant must go www.wktv.com
and go to the Mother’s Day Photo Contest section of “UPickem” and
follow the entry procedure. The contest winner will be electronically
selected by a viewer vote from among all of the valid entries.
A valid contestant can submit only one picture for this contest.
No purchase necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not increase chances of winning.
The odds of winning depend on the number of valid entries received.
DEADLINES: Online entries will be accepted starting Friday, April 16th, 2014. The deadline for submitting entries is 11:59:59am, Thursday, April 30th, 2014.
VOTING:
The viewer vote period for the contest starts May 1st, 2014. The voting period ends May 7th, 2014 at 1:00pm. The photo with the most votes is the winning photo. In the event of a tie in vote totals, the winner will be chosen by random from among the tied candidates. The winner will be announced on Thursday, May 8th, 2014. The winner
will be notified via the e-mail submitted with their registration.
PRIZE: One
(1) Grand Prize will be awarded. The Grand Prize is a $50 gift
Certificate from The Radisson - Utica Centre, a $50 gift certificate
from The Laser Spa@610, and Sterling Silver, Inside Outside Diamond Hoop Earrings from Goldmine
Jewelers, valued at $195. ( total grand prize value $295)
OTHER CONTEST REQUIREMENTS: Eligible contestants must be 18 years of age or older, a New York State resident and have a valid driver’s license.
Winners
must pick up their prize at the WKTV studio at 5936 Smith Hill Road,
Deerfield, between the hours of 8:00AM and 4:00PM, within 6 months of
winning announcement and follow the instructions to redeem their prize.
Winner must present a picture ID to establish identity.
Prize is non-transferable. No substitutions are permitted.
Redemption of prize is subject to any restrictions, and or conditions established by participating vendors.
Winner
is responsible for any and all federal, state and local taxes and
gratuities in conjunction with acceptance of any prize.
Winner is responsible for any costs related to the acceptance of the prize.
By
participating in the contest, the winner agrees to allow their name,
voice or likeness used in any advertising, promotion or broadcasting
material relating to this contest, without additional financial or other
compensation, and to sign a publicity release prior to acceptance of
any prize.
WKTV reserves the right to impose an additional age limit.
WKTV may
not be held responsible for any technical or mail difficulties that
results in a failure in the delivery of an eligible entry, printing
or typographical errors in any contest related materials or for stolen,
lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, illegible or postage-due
mail or entries.
WKTV, in its sole
discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with
the entry process, the operation of the WKTV Web Site or who is
otherwise in violation of the rules. The station further reserves the
right to cancel, terminate or modify the contest if it is not capable of
completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs,
tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.
Employees of WKTV and Smith Media License Holding, LLC and their immediate family members are not eligible to win.
Void where prohibited.
WKTV reserves the right to supplement or change contest rules at any time.
All decisions of the WKTV contest coordinator are final.
