PLATINUM PORTRAIT GIVEAWAY CONTEST RULES
Contest: This is an internet only contest. Viewers enter using the www.cnycw11.com website. The winner will be determined by a random draw using the internet method employed by Upickem. One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded to the winner.
Entry: Viewers enter the contest by filling out the entry form accessed through the www.cnycw11.com website.
Eligibility: eligible contestants must be between the age of 16 and 19 years old and must be entering their senior year of high school in the fall of 2010. They must provide a photo student ID, should they win. They must reside in Oneida, Herkimer or Otsego County.
Prize: One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded. The Grand Prize is a Platinum Photo Package, from Photography by Lisa, includes- 1 Studio & Outside shots on premise of studio, up to 3 outfit changes, (1)16x20, (1)11x14, (2)8x10, (4)5x7, 64 wallets, online password protected view of proofs. Value of the Platinum Photo Package is $620.
Deadlines: Entries will be accepted beginning Friday, July 23, 2010 and the deadline for entries is Friday, August 13, 2010. The date for the drawing of the winner is Monday, August 16, 2010.
Conditions: Winners must claim their prize, in person, at the station, 5936 Smith Hill Road, Deerfield, NY, during regular business hours (9:00AM – 4:30PM) Monday through Friday.
Photo high school student identification is required to claim prize.
Failure to claim prize with in thirty (30) days of notification will result in forfeiture of prize.
Prizes are non-transferable. No substitutions are permitted.
Redemption of prize is subject to any restrictions, and or conditions established by participating vendors.
Winner is responsible for any and all federal, state and local taxes in conjunction with acceptance of any prize.
Winner is responsible for any costs related to the acceptance of the prize.
By participating in the contest, the winner agrees to allow their name, voice or likeness used in any advertising, promotion or broadcasting material relating to this contest, without additional financial or other compensation, and to sign a publicity release prior to acceptance of any prize.
WKTV reserves the right to impose an additional age limit.
WKTV may not be held responsible for any technical or mail difficulties that results in a failure in the delivery of an eligible entry, printing or typographical errors in any contest related materials or for eligible entries lost due to computer failure.
WKTV, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the WKTV Web Site or who is otherwise in violation of the rules. The station further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the contest if it is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.
Employees of WKTV and Smith Media License Holding, LLC and their immediate family members are not eligible to win.
Void where prohibited.
WKTV reserves the right to supplement or change contest rules at any time.
The resale or auction of WKTV prizes will result in disqualification for all future WKTV contests.
All decisions of the WKTV contest coordinator are final.
