The Contest: The contest requires the registration of entrant in the WKTV.COM UPICKEM Contest interface online before the contestant enters the contest for the first time only. The contestant may then submit a picture or video of a pool or pool substitute via the WKTV.COM UPICKEM interface.
WKTV contest coordinators will choose 10 finalists from among the entrants. Viewers will then vote for their favorite picture/video. The entrant with the most votes wins.
Entry: Valid entries can only be submitted electronically at wktv.com. Contestants register in the WKTV.COM UPICKEM Contest interface online or validate an existing registration. The contestant then fills out a submission form and uploads a picture or video of a pool. Contestant may submit one entry only during the submission period. Voters during the voting period of the contest may submit one vote per day.
Deadline: The submission period begins May 15 at 12:00 p.m. and ends May 22 at 11:59:59 p.m.
WKTV contest coordinators will provide 10 finalists for a viewer vote starting May 23 at 12:00 p.m. and ending May 29 at 11:59:59 p.m.
Prize: Only one (1) Grand Prize will be awarded. The prize is an 18' above ground Radiant pool, including installation. (Valued at $6,999).
Eligibility: Contestants must be legal U.S. residents, 18 years or older and possess a valid driver license. Contestants also must be a homeowner residing within 25 miles of Riverside Pools & Spas in Marcy, NY. In order to be eligible for the grand prize, entrants must register on WKTV.com, before submitting a picture entry.

No purchase necessary.
The odds of winning depend on the number of correct entries received and the number of votes cast. A purchase will not increase chances of winning.
Automated voting of any kind is not allowed. Detection of said automated voting will lead to votes being voided.
Only one registered account per voter. If multiple accounts are detected for a single voter, they will be disabled and votes disqualified.
The winner must claim his/her prize within 30 days by presenting picture ID at Riverside Pools & Spas in Marcy, NY.
Photo identification is required to claim prize.
Failure to claim prize with in thirty (30) days of notification will result in forfeiture of prize.
Contest winner must take possession of the Prize and have installation completed before September 30, 2013.
Installation is limited to within a 25 mile distance from Riverside Pools & Spas in Marcy, NY .
The contest winner is responsible for removal of an existing pool.
The decision if the prize is transferable or if substitution is allowed is the sole decision and responsibility of Riverside Pools & Spas.
There is no cash substitution allowed for any or all parts of this prize.
Redemption of prize is subject to any restrictions, and or conditions established by participating vendors.
Winner is responsible for any costs related to the acceptance of the prize.
By participating in the contest, the winner agrees to allow their name, voice or likeness used in any advertising, promotion or broadcasting material relating to this contest, without additional financial or other compensation, and to sign a publicity release prior to acceptance of any prize.
WKTV reserves the right to impose an additional age limit.
WKTV may not be held responsible for any technical or mail difficulties that results in a failure in the delivery of an eligible entry, printing or typographical errors in any contest related materials or for eligible entries lost due to computer failure.
WKTV, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the WKTV Web Site or who is otherwise in violation of the rules. The station further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the contest if it is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.
Employees of WKTV and Smith Media License Holding, LLC, Riverside Pools & Spas and their immediate family members are not eligible to win.
Void where prohibited.
WKTV reserves the right to supplement or change contest rules at any time.
The resale or auction of WKTV prizes will result in disqualification for all future WKTV contests.
Copies of the written contest rules are available during regular business hours at the main studio of WKTV 5936 Smith Hill Road, Utica, NY 13502.
All decisions of the WKTV contest coordinator are final.
WKTV-TV reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value.
Contest entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the contest commissioners, which are final on all matters pertaining to the contest.
Entrants further grant to WKTV-TV the right to use and publish their proper name and state online and in print, or any other media, in connection with the Contest.
WKTV-TV reserves the right to use any and all information related to the Contest, including information on contestants obtained through the contest, for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law.
The Contest and all of the related pages, contents and code are copyright, UPICKEM, and/or WKTV-TV. Copying or unauthorized use of any copyrighted materials, trademarks or any other intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.
Each winner, by acceptance of the prize, agrees to release all Sponsors, and their parent and subsidiary companies, their officers, directors, employees, agents, shareholders, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, and advertising agencies from all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize.
UPICKEM and WKTV-TV are not responsible for Internet crashes or slowdowns caused by network congestion, viruses, sabotage, satellite failures, phone line failures, electrical outages, natural disasters or acts of man or God.
All results posted are unofficial until winners respond to e-mail notification.
Each winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes and will be required to complete an IRS form W-9. Sponsor reserves the right to withhold prizes until completed form W-9 is received.
This contest is not intended for gambling. If it is determined that a contestant is using the contest for gambling purposes they will be disqualified and reported to authorities.
This contest is officially sponsored by WKTV-TV and Riverside Pools & Spas.
